Winged Victory of Samothrace, at the Louvre

She's a symbol of triumph and resilience.

Standing tall despite hardship, despite the years, despite loss, she persists. Crowds below pass in a blur - ephemeral in comparison. Some take time to pause; others rush past.

I like the poetry of it. Life in front of my favorite artwork - though I've yet to see her firsthand. Some day.
